About Amy Thomson
Amy is the founder of PTPART, a workplace wellness consultancy helping London organisations create healthier, more balanced working environments. With nearly 25 years’ experience as a senior HR specialist in high-pressure corporate settings, she understands first-hand the impact workplace culture can have on wellbeing.
As she approached her forties, Amy began to feel the effects of long-term stress and decided she wanted to live — and work — differently. At 39, she retrained, completing an MSc in Mindfulness at the University of Aberdeen, and went on to establish PTPART to bridge her corporate expertise with evidence-based approaches to wellbeing.
Warm, empathetic and practical in her style, Amy works with companies to design tailored wellness programmes, deliver workshops on resilience and stress management, and advise leaders on embedding wellbeing into their culture. When she’s not working, she enjoys exploring London’s food and cultural scene and spending time with her five young nieces and nephews, who keep her grounded and full of perspective.
